Anastasiia Doroshenko has been working at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, University of Žilina, since November 2025, currently as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Multimedia and Information-Communication Technology. She received her PhD in physics at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, where she focused on Experimental studies of low-energy states of quantum magnetic systems. Her doctoral research involved magnetic relaxation measurements, investigations of nanostructured magnetic materials, and characterization of coordination complexes with slow magnetic relaxation. Before her doctoral studies, she completed a Master’s degree in Biophysics at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, where she gained experience in spectroscopy, molecular biology techniques and biomedical applications. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University, where she focused on optical and luminescent properties of semiconductor nanomaterials. Anastasiia is the author and co-author of several peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Physical Review B, Applied Clay Science, Solid State Sciences, Polyhedron, and Frontiers in Pharmacology. Her scientific results are cited across the fields of magnetism, nanomaterials, coordination chemistry, and photodynamic therapy. She has taken part in international scientific schools including CryoCourse 2023 and SFEL 2022, and contributed to national and international research projects (APVV, VEGA) dedicated to quantum magnetism, reduced-dimensional materials, and spin–phonon interactions.
