Gabriel is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Aurel Stodola,  University of Žilina, Slovakia, performing research and teaching activities. In 1986, he received his MSc. degree in the field of automated control of radio-electronic systems at the Military Academy, Slovakia. Since then, he worked as a technical engineer radar systems, and then he became a university teacher in at the Military Academy (1993-2010). He successfully graduated from Additional Pedagogical Studies in 1997, being a group leader, with many managerial and pedagogical duties, particularly leading practices in education / training of radar specialists. In 2012, he completed his doctoral studies at the University of Defense in Brno, Czech Republic in the field of study Electronic Systems and Devices. He participated on many national research and government project in the field of fiber-optics, radar systems, and radio-communications
